Large Eastern Mythology Show “Golden Mask Dynasty”

It is the unique large-scale theater show of Happy Valley Beijing. Since its public performance in August 2007, it has won many awards at home and abroad and has become one of the characteristic experience projects of Beijing tourism.

The Story

It is set in the Sanxingdui culture and tells a legendary story from ancient China.

The little princess of the Flying Bird Clan accidentally met the injured Prince of the Fish Leap Clan while practicing her spells, and the two met. Later, the Prince was pursued and killed by his bad uncle, who borrowed troops from the princess to save the people his uncle murdered. For this reason, the princess sacrificed her life for peace in the world. Under the leadership of Prince Yuyue, the two tribes rebuilt their homes and lived a happy life.

Featured highlights

With the advancement of technology, “Golden Mask Dynasty” has undergone multiple revisions and upgrades, and more and more new technologies are being applied on stage. Nowadays, we can see wonderful scenes in theaters where 3D stereoscopic images blend with real scenes, including art forms such as sound, light, fire, electricity, dance, magic, acrobatics, etc. The on-site effects are very impressive.

We can see that the props and costumes on the stage are magnificent, exquisite, and unique. Among them, nearly a hundred pieces of art are 1:1 fully replicated relics unearthed from Sanxingdui, which is very conscientious.

It is worth mentioning that the venue for the performance of  The Golden Mask Dynasty is the Overseas Chinese Town Enterprises’ Overseas Chinese Town Grand Theater, designed to achieve the best performance effect and create a precedent for domestic theaters to tailor their scripts.

The Legend of Kung Fu, presented by China Heaven Creation International Performing Arts Co., Ltd. (CHC) — China’s leading performance art production company, every night have Kungfu show at Beijing Red Theatre. is a must-see production in Beijing for tourists and Kung Fu lovers.

A group of the best Kung Fu practitioners of China are collected and the best directors and designers of the country are invited by CHC. There are English subtitles shown above the stage to keep you informed of the story line. There is no speaking of the actors, just Kung fu show, dance and acrobatics. The fusion of modern dance with Chinese traditional martial arts makes this performance unique and spectacular.
